Hourly consultation is available to assist with your project. The consultation takes place in your home & consists of a brief Q & A session and discussion of what you want to achieve. Some digital images of your space, may be involved and may encompass services such as:

Consultations are kept to a 2 hour minimum and billable at a 1 Hour Minimum. Travel rates apply for jobs outside the Portland Maine area.

Consultation & Presentation Services
This service is for those who require “more of a vision” and are seeking moderate-to-substantial change.
Following the initial consultation, an evaluation of your space will be made, together with additional notes and field measurements. A note of your possessions to be retained will be made and incorporated into your project.
(No design advice is given to you, the client, at this point, as this is the beginning of the design phase.)
The next step is presentation and the creative process begins with developing a scheme suited to your lifestyle, needs, preferences and budget. (Things such as color, finish & fabric selections are made, furniture & lighting styles are selected and presented to you.) Presentation boards are developed with photographs of your existing space, reference pictures of your proposed space, in addition to some rough sketches and furniture layouts. A “rough” cost estimate on the items will be prepared.
A retainer fee is requested for the management of your project and contingent on the scope of same. Rates are billable at an hourly rate, plus a 20% commission rate is applicable on any product that is not custom (ie items procuredfrom on-line vendors, local resources, ready-made product).

REDESIGN
This service is for those who want a "designer's look" to their space, but cannot afford the various levels of interior design.
Your personal possessions you own are used, from furnishings to elements and other areas of your home may be scoped out, for those hidden treasures that can punch up your tired environment.
Your room's contents are emptied and rearranged "shaking up your environment" - using a designer's eye vs. a home owner's eye.
The end result - a functional, cohesive and revived space affording you renewal and value for your money.
Rates are based on the scope of the job, such as clutter content, moving of heavy pieces and size of room and/or the need of an assistant for larger jobs.
